Kenmore Allergen Filtration 50688 50690

My 50 lb dog recently suffered from bloat, thankfully she survived (my previous dog died from bloat within 1.5 hrs) To try and prevent this from happening again I now feed her 4 small meals per day and use the slow feed bowl to assist further since my dog will eat faster than she can breath if given the opportunity! With this bowl, a meal that would typically take 15-20 seconds to eat now takes upwards of 1-2 minutes! What an incredible difference! I was pleased by the fact that my dog took to the bowl immediately and didn't seem to have any issues with having to eat differently :) The bowl is well constructed and appears as though it will last a long time. The non-skid rubber feet work better than most I've seen, most likely because the thick durable rubber is grooved, making it really grip whatever you set it on. To give an idea of the size of the bowl, I feed 1 cup of average size kibble soaked in 1/2 cup of hot water for each feeding and the bowl is the perfect size for it. Two thumbs up for this bowl, it has definitely helped to lessen my concerns about my dog eating too fast!

Cordless Swivel Sweeper Original Seen

Finally, something that really does what it is suppose to do. This thing is great. Will pick up cooked macoroni. The first time I saw this was when a friend, who has twins and a 2, 8 and 14 year old(that is five in all), demonstrated it to me. She had just fed her children vegetable soup and cleaned up the mess with this. It picked up the corn, peas, etc. I immediately searched for one, the cheapest including shipping, was with Amazon. The only thing, and this is not a bad thing, is that if you have rugs with a fring e, it will grab it. Other than that, this thing really works. It will even pick up metal nuts and screws. Great for the kitchen with pets. I love it. I just hope it holds up. It is plastic, but it is very easy to clean and the charge last longer than most cordless sweepers.

Gives that deep clean you want but can't get from a standard vacuum

BISSELL DeepClean Upright Cleaner 36Z9

This Bissle DeepClean Deluxe really does the job. Most of us have rented the Rug Doctor and it's accessories and around here thats about $60-70 dollars, with in a few rentals you already payed for this carpet cleaner and some spend much more on professional cleaner-so it's worth the investment. Dont be intimidated its not difficult to set up and use- its user friendly and not that heavy seems well constructed as well I see no reason why it wont last many years to come.
These do a fine job fighting off the mess of pets and little ones.
I used it on my furniture and my rugs-even if you dont have pets or little ones this will leave your carpet a few shades brighter, you can feel and smell and of course see the difference. You may have to go over some areas more than once, but hey you own it-it's not a rental.
Pet attachment is great for concentrating on specific areas of accidents ect...
no real negatives other than maybe the cord is a bit short and the carpet feels a little on the wet side-small price to pay in order to keep my furniture and floors as Fresh N Clean as possible.

lens review Electrolux Ergospace Green Canister Vacuum

Electrolux Ergospace Green Canister Vacuum

I just bought this vacuum today at Costco. Paid only $158.99 for it, as they had a Mfr's Instant Rebate of $40 off the original price, very reasonably priced with the coupon!

People who always comment on how great wood floors are, never tried to keep them clean! Especially, in the snowy winters!

I have spent 6 years having to dread every time I had to sweep 2,000 sq. ft. of wood floors in my new house. I would drag out my $800 Ricoh Sweeper w/this huge long hose that attached to the back, and it was like wrestling with an 80 ft. python! It absolutely wore me out by the time I was finished, because it was clumsy to move around and very heavy. I'm >50, and in decent shape, but that sweeper got the best of me.

I have been trying to find something I felt would be lighter, and yet do a decent job of getting the floors swept, so I could really tell they were clean.

I read the reviews posted here, and other websites about this little gem, after having seen it a few days ago @ Costco. Feeling fairly confident about buying it, I went back to get it today.

I am just amazed how easy it is to maneuver around in tight places, corners, and under couches, chairs, beds, and amazingly enough - even dressers! The suction and power are superb! The turbo sweeper head for the rugs, is powerful, as well.

Wasn't impressed that it only came with one extra bag, but I'll survive. I'm just thrilled over how easy it is to use, and am planning on telling all my friends who have wood floors, that they need to get one of these sweepers! It was great to finish sweeping, and not feel like I'd just done a few rounds with a prizefighter!

Finally a robot that can mop your hard floors!

wedding dress review Evolution Robotics Mint Automatic 4200

Evolution Robotics Mint Automatic 4200

Only used it once, but it worked perfectly. I was initially skeptical because I first happened to look at Scooba and thought putting water down and sucking/mopping it up seemed like the best way. The Mint approach is different and I like it better: keep the hardware simple, run the device more often to maintain a clean floor, keep maintenance low, keep cost down.

I agree with others who mentioned that the automatic parking/charging and scheduling of more expensive devices doesn't make sense when you have to empty the bin and clean parts anyway. At first I thought I would run it wet often to "do a better job", but after watching it run on wet and then dry I think 2-4 dry runs a few days apart and then a wet run should work well and be easier. The dry cloths pick up dust and dirt well.

It ran for a long time before exhausting the battery, and the kids enjoyed watching it. The very low noise level is really a good thing. Size is perfect. Compatibility with many cleaning cloth brands is also great.

Many, if not most of us, are really busy with more important things. Any sort of regular maintenance or even simple cleaning requirement is going to keep us from using a device often. Mint's simple steps of mounting the cloth, putting it down and hitting two buttons, ignore it for a couple of hours, pull off the cloth into the trash, and plug it in - there is no reason not do do it often.

I imagined that during a wet cycle, the cloth would get dirty fast and you'd want to rinse it one or more times. You can't do this because it resets its "map" when you pick it up. Another reviewer said that a firmware update was coming to allow a continuation of a cycle, so I called customer service to verify. The first person said an update was in the works to add that feature, and when I asked for a timeline, they forwarded me to the CA office. The person in that office was unaware of an update and seemed concerned that false information was being given to customers. But she said that you can stop it in the middle of the room, rinse the cloth, and start it on the other side. It may not meet in the middle perfectly, but I don't think I'll miss that feature. You can also run it without the "GPS cube" and it will use another algorithm to do a smaller area.

Side Dirt-Auto Rewind-Bagged-Lays Flat-Powerful PLUS where to get bags

car stereo review Hoover Nozzle Canister Vacuum S3590

Hoover Nozzle Canister Vacuum S3590

We have had our Duros for over two years now. We got it originally because we had bedbugs and getting rid of them requires a lot of powerful vacuuming. Well, we got rid of all our bedbugs and two years later we're still happy with it.

Canister vs. Upright: We went with a canister vacuum over an upright because they are just more powerful. And in my experience, much easier to push across the floor because when you push the main cleaning head, you're leaving the heavy engine and the bag behind. All you have to push is the rotating brush head or whatever attachment you're using. You do sort of have to lug the canister around behind you as you finish an area, which is sometimes a pain. And the canister types are bulkier and more difficult to store, if you have limited closet space. But overall, as a mother of 4 who has used both kinds, I prefer the canister types.

Duros vs. other models: We picked the Duros because we wanted a good reliable maker. In two years of heavy use we have never had a mechanical problem (except that the rubber bumper pad keeps coming off). Also, we wanted the rotating brush head. It does make the head heavier than in some other canister models, and minimizes that advantage a little bit, but it really does help clean better. Ours has always worked fine and they've made it really easy to turn the brush off and on-- one foot button and a thumb button so you can use whichever you prefer or is convenient at a given time.

Best part: The super-powerful suction. Once time I noticed it losing power and I thought it was nearing the end of its vacuum life. Well, it turned out it had a sock AND a piece of upholstery foam stuck in the hose. Yet it was continuing to pick up dirt, dust, cat hair, paper, and even a pen, just a bit less energetically than usual. I tell you, it's a good thing this has adjustable suction, because some places in my house I have to turn it DOWN or it will pick up the entire rug and/or anything in its path that would certainly have been left behind by a lesser vacuum.

Canister-type vacuums may not be right for you, but I hate seeing this one badly reviewed just because of people not liking canisters. If you want a canister, I have not found any reasons not to be delighted with this one!
