dress review Dyson DC39 Animal Canister Vacuum
I have done a lot of research before I purchase this vacuum. I know, it's a lot more expensive than other vacuum cleaner out there, but I think it worth every penny of it.
First of all, I live in a three stories Townhouse. There are stairs in the house. It was a nightmare when I vaccum once every 3 weeks on the stairs with my old upright vacuum cleaner. It's heavy, it's inconvenient, and thank god I haven't fall downstair with that heavy machine yet. I finally get really sick and tired about doing the cleaning with that huge upright vaccum cleaner and ready to get something small and convenient.
Second, all the other canister out there are not as powerful as upright vaccum. I have two dogs in the house, I need something very powerful to catch their hair.
Finally, this is the solution!! Dyson DC39 Animal caniser vacuum cleaner!!!
I won't feel too much benefit on the "ball" and how easy it moves. Since I have carpet. But it slides smoothly on my tile. BUT MAN, I LOVE IT when it comes to vaccum on stairs. POWERFUL, LIGHT, AND CONVENIENT. I can catch even more dust and hair than before and save me half of the time on vaccum.
Overall, this is a great product for people who has carpet stair, you must try!!
I've had two Dyson uprights, the first wonderful, the second not so great. The little carpet height sensor got very worn down and scratched my wood floor in addition to the hose breaking. I decided to give Dyson another go and ordered this vac. I have 2 kids,, 3 dogs, and a cat (I often feel like it is Noah's arc). The item was well packaged and very easy to set up. It did wonderfully on my wood floors and my area rug looked like it had been shampooed when I finished. I love that it's smaller than an upright and can get in between and under the furniture. I also purchased the hard floor attachment, but honestly, wish I hadn't. It is fine to use it after the bulk of the dog hair is up, but I found that the massive dog hair tumble weeds got stuck around the edges and the included turbine head was simply more effective. It's very easy to maneuver, and I found myself forgetting that I was pulling a canister behind me. It got up all the dog hair and even did a really great job getting the dust off the floor! Great on grouted tile as well! Initial first impression ....it's a must buy. Will update after I've put it through its paces.
BalasHapusI am an animal lover with 4 indoor cats. I have always bought the Kenmore canister vacuum because I can vacuum under the bed/furniture without moving it. It also has a roller brush head that lifts the carpet so it picks up everything really well. However, the last one I purchased was kind of disappointing because it seems the quality had changed so when it broke I decided to try something new. Many of my friends and neighbors have been raving about Dyson but they all have uprights so I didn't really even consider it. Finally...out of desperation I started researching online to find a good canister vaccum with strong suction, a roller brush head that would lift the carpet to pick up the animal hair and also be able to vacuum under the bed and furniture. Although this vacuum is kind of pricey....it is absolutely worth every penny. Great results! THANK YOU DYSON....I LOVE IT!

Dyson DC39 Animal canister vacuum cleanerOur previous vacuum was a SEBO, and before that a Miele. We have two large hair-shedding dogs and two very hair-shedding cats And family members who are allergic to all of them. So we've always looked for a vacuum with excellent air filtering. But this is the first that is specific for pet hair. This machine is incredible! I just vacuumed the dog mat in front of the wood stove. Which I had just vacuumed with our old machine. It was incredible how much pure dust and the amount of hair the Dyson lifted AFTER the pride of German Engineering had done it's job! Simply amazing! My sister in law has a Dyson and I was put off by the noise level. So had never considered Dyson before. But their engineers seem to have addressed this problem well. No noisier than our previous machine; much more portable and easier to move around. Outstanding machine. Excellent value. AND Dyson even provides a small turbo head for hand vacuuming. Can't wait to try it on my car interior, which no machine, yet, has managed to rid of dog hair....I think this one will.
BalasHapusCAN I ADD THIS COMMENT AFTER SIX MONTHS USE... Have not changed my opinion. Turns out to be as excellent as I'd hoped
Very nice suction power, yet it's not very loud at all. The unit is easy to drag around and goes around corners nicely. The handle is adjustable, so fits all heights, I highly recommend to anyone with hardwood floors/tile. Not as good on carpet as some of the upright models.
BalasHapusI have been using the DC39 Animal for 2.5 weeks now on carpet (short dense pile and Berber and very short pile throw rugs) and tile with two indoor/outdoor cats shedding in spring in an ultra-dry environment (lots of static). It is amazingly quiet and light, super maneuverable, and very effective. I have used a number of Kenmore Canister vacuums throughout my adult life. I was initially disappointed with the narrow width of the head, but have since grown to appreciate how many more places it can fit. It is very easy to empty and keep clean. I empty it into my garage trash can while outside to avoid reapplying dust inside. It stores in a relatively small space compared to other older style canister vacuums. The small rotating-brush head works wonderfully on upholstered furniture. The combo dusting brush/crevice tool is space saving and effective. Sometimes I miss having a light on the large rotating-brush head, but, the design is far superior to a powered head and an acceptable compromise. The adjustable length wand is a plus. Dyson's statement that it never looses suction across surface changes is NOT a gimmick. It is a well designed product that is attractive and a pleasure to use. In my opinion, this vacuum is far superior to others in its price range.
BalasHapusGreat vacuum, make your research before buying to get the best deal. I was indecisive between the DC41 and DC39. This is my first Dyson and decided for the DC39. Very powerful and glides on the floor. I have used upright all my life and it took me little to get used to tug the canister behind me because I was used to clean moving backwards. With the canister you need to do the opposite otherwise the cable will get on the way.
BalasHapusPros
-5 year warranty
-Very powerful
-Looks good
-Retractable cord
-Maintenance free, just rinse the filter with water once a month, That is it!
Cons:
-Price; however, I came accross many reviewers that have used the same model of dyson for more than 7 years. It does not surprise me since this Vacuum has 5 years of warranty. You cannot go wrong with this one, considering I have changed vacuum
-Storage: the way it is intended takes too much space versus an upright.
-Convinience: It cannot pick up the pieces of cereal that my one year old baby throws down to the floor, not because of power but because the pieces can not go through the head and into the suction hose. There is a trick for this by moving the actual head over the pieces and it works better.
Overall, this is a quality product and and I am happy with it. I am actually considering and additional Dyson DC35 for quick pick ups.
