shoes woman Hoover WindTunnel Upright Vacuum UH70901
I have owned Hoovers exclusively for the last 12 years or so and have found them to be the best for the money. I have the Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub Wet/Dry Vacuum, FH40010B for hard floors and have had the Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner with Clean Surge, F5914-900 for when I had carpets. That baby is still going strong at a friend's house and I haven't heard any complaints. This Hoover Wind Tunnel 3 is handsome and comes with the typical Hoover work ethic. The attachments are right where you need them and the suction is superior. My main floor cleaning problem to date is dog hair and how that can cause all sorts of problems with vacuums. Since the Wind Tunnel 3 allows for the brush to disengage there is no more problems with dog hair tangling around the brush and causing belts to implode. Yes, this is a heavy vacuum but that means it has power. The canister is easy to clean and the filter is washable. All in all, a high quality, very efficient Hoover vac.
I highly recommend if you're looking for a vacuum that will last and keep doing its job for years to come.

This vacuum cleaner is very easy to assemble out of the box - one screw, basically, and you're up and running. The vacuum itself is light enough to haul around the house. So far, it seems to be doing a great job vacuuming, and suction seems strong. The cord automatically winds with the press of a button. This is a feature that I love, since putting the cord back on the vacuum is my least favorite thing about vacuuming (I know, it's a ridiculous thing to not like, but this does make it better!). The container empties easily and quickly, So far, this vacuum has been nothing short of great. I will update this review if it doesn't seem to last, but so far it seems like it should do well. It seems like it's well-made and should last awhile.
BalasHapusI have to admit that the Hoover WindTunnel 3 works as well if not better than my Dyson DC 25 and is much quieter! I was totally amazed at how much dog hair came up from my carpet using the Hoover. I vacuum at least 3 X weekly because our house is for sale and I want to make sure it is completely spotless. That being said, using the Dyson so often I was amazed at the amount of dog hair and sand that came up from my carpet using the Hoover after only one day after the Dyson. Also, the stair accessory works perfectly. I also love that it has a retractable plug in and is very long. The Dyson has neither. It is heavier than the Dyson, but not by much and still manageable to carry up the stairs. I also have hardwood stairs and it works perfectly on those too as well as Berber carpeting and outdoor carpets. Overall, I think it is better than my particular Dyson at a much more reasonable price.
BalasHapusI have a couple of other vacuums but they only take me so far so I swore I'd try another and this is what I chose. The Hoover WindTunnel 3 is a very powerful vacuum that cleaned up my living room and dining room very well. Better than any other vacuum I've tried, this one did the job. Then I tried the hand tools on my couch, chairs and stairs. It was very easy to handle and did the best job. The assembly of the vacuum was very easy and I only needed a phillips screwdriver for one screw. All the accessories fit onto the vacuum so I won't lose them or forget what part goes where and have them when I need them. This is a great vacuum cleaner and I highly recommend it.
BalasHapusWe have a Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Pet Rewind Plus Upright Vacuum, Bagless, UH70210, Billowy Blue Metallic and a Dirt Devil Breeze Bagless Cyclonic Upright Vacuum Cleaner. The latter is much cheaper and more maneuverable, but with much less power, so fits into a category of its own. The WindTunnel 3 Pro is uniformly better than the WindTunnel T-Series Pet Rewind Plus and well worth the moderate price difference (although this might be do to the ageing of the Pet Rewind Plus). In particular, it has stronger suction, the knob to adjust for the floor height turns more easily, the filter seems more substantial, the connecting tube for the attachments escalates better, is as good for pet hair or better (neither compete with a lint roller), and the color scheme and design is somewhat better.
BalasHapusI have been using the vacuum for the past couple of weeks and it cleans our mix of carpet and hardwood floor very well. The vacuum has a brush roll on and off switch so you can switch from carpet to hardwood very easily. The suction power feels very strong and I actually had to adjust the setting to make it easier to push. This setting adjustment for carpet height is very useful because I actually had to return our Dyson because the suction was so strong that I couldn't push it on our carpet. The onboard tools are very useful in that it has an extension pole and crevice tool. In addition it has the mini roller for your couch or stairwell. I think the only cons I would have are the vacuum is heavy and a bit loud but not much more than the Dyson. In my opinion, I would recommend this vacuum for $150 over a $450 Dyson!
